The Fibonacci betting system has a number of steps which you
take depending on a loss or a win on your previous bet. The steps are
1—2—3—5—8—13—21—34.
According to this betting system, you go up 1 step after losing a bet, but down by 2 steps after every win. This ensures that every win pays/covers for any two losses before it.

Example:
1. Bet with Ksh
100. If you lose, the bet with Ksh 200.
2. If you win at
Ksh 200, then return to step 1, to bet with Ksh 100. But if you lose the move
to step 3 to bet with Ksh 300.
3. If you win at
Ksh 300, then return to step 1, to bet with Ksh 100. But if you lose then move
to the next step to bet with Ksh 500.
4. If you win at
Ksh 500, return to betting with Ksh 200. But if you lose then move to next
step, bet with Ksh 800.
5. If you win at
Ksh 800, return to betting with Ksh 300. But if you lose, then bet with Ksh
1300.
6. If you win at
Ksh 1300, return to betting with Ksh 500. But if you lose then bet with Ksh
2100.
7. If you win
with Ksh 2100, then return to betting with Ksh 800. But if you lose then move
up to betting with Ksh 3400.
8. If you win with
Ksh 3400, return to betting with Ksh 1300. But if you lose then start afresh by
betting with Ksh 100.
The Fibonacci betting strategy has a variant in which
instead of going down 2 steps after every win, you go down 1 step with each win
until you win two bets in a row and can now move down by 2 steps. This variant
may be effective in helping you win money in the long run. Apart from this, the
Fibonacci betting system has many variants which can be used to make profits.
However, Fibonacci is not recommended for a cautious player and for players who
do not want to bet with up to 34 times their standard stake.
